Frequently Asked Questions

What is required to make a booking and hold my date?


We require a 30% deposit and Service Agreement to confirm your booking and hold your date. $1650 for Weekend Rental $1050 for Saturday Rental $750 for Sunday-Friday Rental This deposit serves as a date rentation fee and NON-REFUNDABLE. The balance will need to paid off 30 days prior to your event date.




Do we have to use preferred vendors or caterers?


Nope! We do not have any vendor or catering restrictions in place; with the exception of our bartending staff. All alcohol must be served by our bartenders. Bartending services are included in your rental rate. You are wlecome to use whatever catering company, DJ, event planner or event service vendor you like.




What are your food service policies?


We allow you to use whatever catering service you like. We can recommend fantastic local vendors we love! Foodtrucks can park on the picnic side of the barn. You can bring in homeade food or even BBQ onsite in our picnic area. We DO NOT allow open flames or cooking inside the barn, however. We provide a large catering prep space for your vendor or family's use. This space includes a three sink, refridgerator, freezer and plenty off prep tables.




What are you alcohol service policies?


We allow you to bring in your own beer, wine and/or liquor in additon to non-alcoholic beverages. All alcohol MUST be served by our bartenders. No exceptions on this one! Bartending services are included in your rental rate. All alcohol MUST be dropped off at the bar for our staff to serve. No guests are permitted behind the bar at any time. At the end of the event our staff will pack up what's left and it is yours to take. We require you to obtain an Event Insurance policy and that policy must include Host Liquor Liabilty coverage, with Leslie Meadows named as the additionaly insured. This is standard at most venues. What is your cancellation policy? (COVID response listed)


Deposits serve as a date retention fee an are NON-REFUNDABLE. Meaning, we hold your date and that prevents any other couple from booking it. If you cancel, we will keep that retention fee. If you cancel less than 30 days before your event, we retain the full rental payment. We are an outdoor event venue so, all events are considered rain or shine. We do not refund due to inclement weather. All of our policies are clearly outlined in your Booking Agreement. Please, read your contract IN FULL and be sure to ask any questions you may have prior to making any payments! COVID-19 Response: In 2020, due to the Governor's execuitve orders, we were forced to close our doors for several months. Events booked within that timeframe were given the opportunity to postpone thier wedding to a future date, at no additonal fee. Because we were not able to uphold our contracted obligations, we also offered those clients a full refund of all payments (per the Force Majure section of our Agreement). Events that were scheduled after the stay at home order was lifted in June, could move forward as planned. Clients with event dates that fell after that order was lifted were still given the opportunity to postpone one time, without penalty. Because we were able to fullfill our contracted obligations (our doors were open for business), we did not offer any refunds of deposits. We will not speculate on events happening in 2021 or later or make any guarantees of refunds or postponements on furture bookings. We can only provide you with informaton on our response to events in 2020 and our current cancellation and Force Majure policies, which can be viewed in full in our Booking Agreement.




What is your guest capacity?


The barn can seat up to 280 guests comfortably. We allow up to 350 guests on the property, with the addition of a tent placed in our picnic area, next to the barn. Tent rentals are not provided by Leslie Meadows, it is the Client's responsibilty to arrange for and make payment for that additional item.
